CJ and Friends

Nuo Liu is the creator behind CJ and Friends, a kids worship channel that seeks to cultivate joy in children towards God through music and dance. She first came to us needing some new headshots. Eventually that rolled right into needing a website. And so we helped her out with both.
Before we met Nuo, CJ and Friends was already popping. Her channel had already garnered a huge following and Nuo decided that it was time to dive deeper in growing her brand out with some new headshots and a website.
First things first, we started with commercial photography. We wanted to match the vibe of the channel - something bright, fun, bubbly. And so we went with studio lighting and bright colored backdrops. Our hair & makeup artist, Precious, gave her a natural, youthful look and some space buns to give her that youthful glow. Mix in a few wardrobe options and a ukelele, we’re golden.

Having great photos is one thing. But when you get to utilize those photos in fun banner ads and social media pieces, that’s really cool.

Once the photos were done, we got to working on the website. We met with Nuo to go over all her goals and what she hoped the website would do:
be the central hub for all things CJ and Friends
showcase events and also allow people to book
let people know how they can get involved
have a storefront to sell digital downloads and t-shirts
