What’s cooler than a photo that’s in motion?

From Mood Boards To Storyboards

One of the most effective ways to connect with your audience is through video. A quick little clip overlaid with music is enough to pique people’s interests. Or sometimes a fun, quirky reel on social media can spread awareness of you or your brand.

Or maybe a five-minute testimonial with one of your clients could do the trick. Or maybe a YouTube series where you can connect with your audience on an ongoing basis?

Whatever the need is, we can help. Our team is stacked with incredibly talented people who have worked on a number of shoots. So I’m sure we’ll make something great for you!

OUR CREATIVE PROCESS

01.
Pre-Production

Every good video has to start with great planning. And our team has worked on a number of shoots where we’ve learned to expect the unexpected!

We’ll take briefs that come our way and dream up how best to shoot it. Mixed in with creativity and storyboarding, with some planning and logistics, we’ll come up with a solid plan for shoot day.

This video is a fun one because we actually chat about lighting, camera movement, location scouting, getting permits, etc. It's a great one to showcase how we think as a producer / director team.

02.
Production

When it’s time to actually shoot, we’ve got to have all our bases covered! We’ve learned to have a backup for the backup!

Each step of the way, we’ve upped our game with gear to make sure we’re actually producing something of great value. We try to make sure we get extra footage at all the angles and extra takes of voiceover or audio. We strive to get everything right at the time of the shoot so that when its time to cut, there are more than enough great clips to use.

Our videography journey started here when Elaine Faye convinced Joanne to start a YouTube Channel with her. And boom - a producer was born!

03.
Post-Production

Now comes the fun part! Putting everything together.

Once we have all the moving pieces, we can actually cut the video. We can create graphics, add typography, overlay some interesting music or voiceover. If you want motion graphics or special effects, we can work that out as well.

And we can cut for social media reels, 3-minute long testimonials, a 20-minute vlog, or a long-form video podcast interviews. As long as it was planned for and there’s enough footage, we can cut it for you.

Honestly, editing is a character in itself. The way a video is cut is part visual storytelling, part artistry. It’s about how everything comes together and we don’t waste a second of it.
