Interim Art Director / Test Photographer
There was a time where I stepped in as the interim art director at Nous Model Management. Whatever the art need, I took care of it. Designing assets for the webzine, done. Making gifs for Instagram. You got it. You need comp cards made for the girls? No problem.
When you’re in the business of beauty, you got to keep the gorgeous photos flowing. Websites, social media, castings. We were constantly making and delivering stunning photos.
Above are some samples of the headers that I designed for the agency. It’s meant to be very simple, just enough to update readers about recents shoots the girls were on.
For some photos, we needed to add some Photoshop magic. Like the one above, we don’t represent the girl on the left. So we decided to kindly remove her from the image and then use that blank space to write out the header. Simple, effective, and it matched the brand.
We did castings at Nous Model Management as well. And so I spent some time photographing the girls so that certain brands would know how their clothes looked on the models. It’s a very effective way to connect the models to the brand and to potentially book an editorial shoot.
As time went on, I left the in-house job and decided to stay on as just a test photographer. Below are some images from some of the shoots I’ve done with some of their top models.
